Children's Study Supplementary Class Recreation Time April to July 2024

The first half class, in the class for kindergarten to elementary school children, there is always a play time after the study time. Once or twice a month, there is also a recreation time where we experience seasonal events. During regular play time, we play cards, origami, and other things individually that we like, but during recreation time, the whole class plays together.

In May, in celebration of Children's Day, we folded Japanese helmet out of newspapers, and also made paper airplanes to fly.

In June, it is the rainy season, so we made snails with paper and “ Teru-Teru Bouzu” -

Sunshine Charm Dolls - with the hope that the rain would stop.

In July, the children wrote their wishes on strips of paper, decorated bamboo branches with their favorite ornaments to make their own “Tanabata” -star festival - decorations.

Then, on the last study day before the summer vacation begins in July, the children made their own bubble rings and had fun blowing soap bubbles.

Some children made big soap bubbles, some blew lots of tiny bubbles, and the parents who came to pick up the children and their younger siblings joined in, making it a very lively recreational activity.
