The 71st Afternoon Tea event will be about Colombia, which is located in South America. Colombia is well-known as a major producer of coffee, but did you know that it ranks 2nd in the world for the shipment of cut flowers? In addition, Colombia is home to an abundance of nature, including the Andes, rainforests, and the beautiful coasts along the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. Tourists from around the world are attracted by sites such as the mysterious Catedral de Sal, Caño Cristales, the most beautiful river in the world (also known as the “River of Five Colors”), the beautiful emeralds found in mines, and the chance to see humpback whales in the Pacific Ocean. Johanna will talk about the various things that Colombia has to offer.
