Tokodai Indonesian students played Angklung ( bamboo instrument), an World Intangible Cultural Heritage of Indonesia, on the stage of Aoba Community and Cross-Cultural Center Festival on November 23, 2016.
Half of the students learned Angklung after their coming to Japan. Indonesian heritage is passed down to younger generation even in Japan.
They performed 3 musics.
1.Manuku Dadali (Indonesian national bird, Garuda)
2.Hana wa saku (Flowers keep blooming, a charity song for 311 earthquake victims)
3.Viba la Vida (English rock band, Coldplay's music)

Indonesian studens from Tokodai Suzukakdai campus are learning Japanese at Aoba international lounge's Japanese class.
