“Invitation to French cuisine culture”

French cuisine was registered as UNESCO cultural heritage in 2010 for “Food Tradition”. It was honored not only for the cuisine itself but also for other things such as selected ingredients, recipe to harmonize ingredients, fine ensemble with wine, and table setting as an art.

In this afternoon tea, we will have Ms. Benedicte Mehl, a cooking specialist, who was attracted by Japanese cuisine and came to Japan in 1994.  She will tell us about the tradition of French cuisine and hospitality.
